외국인 학생과 비자

California Victor University 는 미국 국토안보국 (SEVIS) 인준을 받았으며, 연방법에 따라 비 이민 외국인 학생을 등록하고 학생들이 학생비자(F-1)로 미국에 입국할 수 있도록 자격 증명서(I-20) 를 자체 발급할 수 있는 권한이 있다. 외국인 학생이 입학허가를 받으면California Victor University 는 I-20 form 을 동봉한 제반 서류들을 보내게 된다.

입학 준비를 위해 필요한 구비서류는 다음과 같다.
1.    입학원서 (본교 소정양식)
2.    추천서 2장(본교 소정양식)
3.    I-20 발급 신청서  (본교 소정양식)
4.    재정보증서(본교 소정양식)
5.    은행잔고 증명서 원본-해당은행양식(영문)
6.    대학교 영문 성적증명서, 영문 졸업증명서
7.    여권 사본 및 여권용 사진 2장
8.    원서 접수비  $200, I-20 발급 신청비 $500 국제우편 수수료 $100

유학생 비자 절차

1. 학교에 입학서류 제출
입학서류 및 유학생 서류

2. I-20 신청 및 비용 결제

CVU 입학서류 제출시 I-20 를 받을 우편 주소 등의 정보를 정확히 입력하고 해당비용 (원서 접수비  $100, I-20 발급 신청비 $300, Express Mail fee) 를 미국 본교 거래 은행으로 Wire 등으로 결제함.

3. I-20 Initial 및 입학허가서 발행

CVU 에서는 제출된 서류를 검토 및 비용 입금 확인 후 입학 사정회를 거쳐서 입학 허가서(Letter of Acceptance) 와 I-20 Initial (미국 입국용 임시) 발행 후 해당 주소로 우편 발송함

4. SEVIS 비용(I-901 fee)결제

온라인 웹사이트http://www.ice.gov/sevis/i901 혹은www.fmjfee.com에 들어가서 신청양식을 작성하고 SEVIS 신청비용 $350.00 을 크레딧 카드로 지불한 후 영수증을 프린트 함
 

5. 미국 대사관 비자 인터뷰 예약 및 비자 신청비
영수증을 가지고 온라인으로 주한 미국 대사관에 비자 인터뷰 예약

6. 비자 인터뷰
비자 인터뷰 하러 갈 때에는 필요한 모든 서류, 즉 비자 신청 자격서류(I-20 또는 DS-2019). 재정 지원서류, SEVIS 요금 영수증과 비자 신청비 지불

7. 미국대사관에서 Visa 허가 받은 후
비행기표 구입, I-94 입국카드 작성.

8. 미국에 입국 후 학교 도착
학교에 도착 후 담당하는 사무실에 I-20, Visa(대사관 발행), I-94, 여권사본 등을 학교에 제출
